Benefits to the Saving the Tasmanian Devil projects
Tasmanian Devil Conservation Park has formed a conservation partnership with Tasmanian Government and University of Tasmania scientists to help save the famous little devil.
    My contribution can help:

  • Develop and manage a large scale long term disease-free devil breeding programme on Tasman Peninsula that may involve hundreds of animals
  • Employ vets and scientists to help breed Tasmanian devils for possible cancer resistance
  • Care for young healthy hand-raised orphaned devils for future wild release
  • Develop a special traffic grid to stop diseased devils from crossing the only access bridge to our disease-free local peninsula
  • Trial special collars for radio tracking wild devils

  • Graziella and Alice, our first Friends from France.
